Pecking

Registration day is 2 days away and clothes are still strewn all over the floor. However, the latter is actually a constant fact throughout my teenage years, so what significance does it bring to the sentence?

None. A more accurate statement would be, "Registration day is 2 days away and I still haven't packed anything yet."

I'm in the middle of ironing my clothes. Like, very in the middle. The iron is switched on and one sleeve of a baju kurung is lying on the ironing board waiting to be de-creased. I'm nothing if not highly impulsive. And irresponsible.

I haven't packed anything yet. It is so because..

• there's so much to pack that my brain's in pain, thus I shy away from packing, or
  
• I have a lazy persona (highly doubtful), or
• I just realized that leaving home would be one of the hardest things after all.
