Dental Woe.

I was sitting with my mum in front of ze idiot box this afternoon and poof suddenly we were talking about teeth. I immediately put on a pokerface/deadpan expression since my teeth have long been the subject of ridicule. Boohoo. Eee, tak lawanya gigi Aina! and Aina, gigi hang macam gigi Dracula. HAHA LAWAK LAWAK. Quite a lot of people remarked that I have fangs, which I thought was fitting, since I adore vampires..

My dad had been pressuring me to get braces since I was in Form 2 but because I steadfastly said don't want don't want, because my refusal was unfaltering, he let the matter drop. Then this afternoon my mum offered again, and I began to seriously consider it.. Hmm. My friends would of course encourage me to have this dental makeover, but..

I am kinda reluctant and sad to let my fangs go. :-(

Would you be sad if something that has been the part of your image for so long and you didn't mind it being there is replaced with something.. new? How would I look with straight pretty teeth?

But I think I'm evading the real issue. Sebenarnya saya takut. I'm a tiny little chickened out because someone somewhen somewhere told me that the process of fitting the braces into one's teeth is extremely excruciating and painful. All this was said in one breath. Ookay back to the issue. I'm not what you'd call fragile, but I feel physical pain very easily. Kamu pukul sikit, saya sakit lama. Get it? No, I'm still not admitting that I'm not tough. I am tough. In.. other ways.
