Saje je nak cite. So it's like this. The name of the series is Vampire Academy, and the series got, like.. 4 books in total? Je suis not sure. The first book is just Vampire Academy, second's Vampire Academy : Frostbite, third's Vampire Academy : Shadow Kiss. I just read Shadow Kiss and it was totally heartbreaking. :-((((((( Daym!

It's like this. Main babe in the story is Rose Hathaway. Total badass, someone people wouldn't mess with her because she has a problem controlling her temper.. You mess with her you'd be punched in the face. Ohh boy, I just DREAM to be like her. Main dude is Dimitri Belikov, a mentor at the said Vampire Academy. St Vladimir's Academy. Okay why don't I restart?

In this book there's 3 types of vampires. First up, the Moroi. Moroi are 100% vampire, each have control over one type of element, fire, earth, water, air. Yada yada. The usual. They're fair, can't stand much sunlight, eat normal food and drink blood. They don't actually kill the human they're feeding from, because the human is pretty much willin'. This is coz the feed stimulates the release of endorphins. Y'know, happy hormone. And herein lies the difference between Moroi and Strigoi.

Strigoi are bad, real bad. They're the evil vampires, if you will. They are Moroi turned evil, and I hear you asking how? Lemme tell you. They kill during their feed. Instantly they'll turn into Strigoi. They're immortal, grow stronger with age, have red rings around their eyes (Twilight much?), evil evil evil, can be killed only by decapitation, by fire and by driving a stake to their heart. Simple enough to do aite? WRONG! They are freakishly strong and fast and yeah. Stronger than the Moroi, and stronger than the dhampirs even.

Dhampirs. They're half human-half vampire. Senang cite, the result of Moroi men strayin'. Even a dhampir woman mating with a Moroi man will produce a dhampir. Because they're half human, they're sturdier than Moroi. Sunlight don't inconvenience them in any way. and they live on normal food too. So, diorang jadi guardians for the Moroi. Dhampir teenagers, mostly male attend the academy for guardian training. Moroi teenagers attend the academy, but they have different classes.

Rose Hathaway is a dhampir, training to become a guardian. Her best friend is Lissa, Vasilisa Dragomir, one of the few Moroi princesses. Dimitri Belikov, senior guardian, Rose's mentor, Rose's lurrrrve interest. Described to be hot. Well, Rose's hot too. Anyways, in Book 1 they fell in love with each other but can't be together coz of the 7-years age difference and coz they're student and teacher and coz they will be both protecting Lissa when Lissa and Rose graduates. So you see, they've got to get their heads in the game.

All's very sad in Book 2, they can't be together bla bla. But Book 3. :-((( Here are the excerpts.
